SuperBox runs Android 12, giving it access to any app available on the Google Play Store for Android TV. Customers can install streaming services they subscribe to, productivity apps, and sideload additional apps outside the Play Store. SuperBox TV Now does not provide streaming content — customers use the device with the services they choose to subscribe to independently.
Roku runs its own proprietary OS. It has a polished, user-friendly interface and strong cross-service content discovery. Roku’s app store is curated and does not support sideloading. For customers deeply integrated into the Roku ecosystem, the interface and cross-service recommendations are strengths.
SuperBox includes a built-in gigabit ethernet port on all S7 series models. This allows a direct wired connection to your router without any adapter. Roku Ultra includes an ethernet adapter, but the Roku Streaming Stick models have no ethernet option at all.
